Under the Christmas Tree

Alma Beltran (Elise Bauman) has recently moved back home to help her dad (Enrico Colantoni) and family friend, Marie (Ricki Lake), run the Beltran family’s Christmas General Store. Alma’s life changes when Charlotte “Charlie” Freemont (Tattiawna Jones) flies into town on a frantic search for an iconic Christmas tree for the state after the first one was ruined in a storm. Charlie is known as “The Tree Whisperer” for her uncanny ability to locate the perfect fir and this year, Charlie finds it in Alma’s family’s front yard. Even though there are romantic sparks between the two women, they spar over the fate of the majestic Beltran tree. Charlie works to secure the tree by bringing Alma into her world, sharing her awe and excitement at having a job filled with magic. While Alma is taken by Charlie and her Christmas spirit, it makes Alma question everything—from her move home to trusting that Charlie’s intentions are true. In the end, two women take leaps of faith for love and the most magical Christmas tree ever.
